03 - 12 June 2017 (Closed - ask us about next departure date)
Slovenia is a wonderful region offering many alternative cycling routes tucked into the sides of Alps, meandering through pleasant hills and winding around beautiful lakes. Slovenia joined the European Union since 2004 and has an interesting mix of Austro/Hungarian and Italian cultures that render it a truly fascinating country to explore.
This tour will lead us to the wondrous medieval city of Lubjana, where we’ll take part in the Maratona Franja Granfondo! We'll ride the same course that was used for the UCI Masters in 2014, and this GF is a qualifier race for this year's Masters if you'd like an added incentive! Check out the GF courses here.
But it’s not just about the riding, we’ll have plenty of time to explore the locations and what’s more enjoy the local food and wine!
