Highlights
We are super excited to be again partnering with the Haute Route organisation as an official Tour Operator for 2017.
The Haute Route cycling events are arguably the toughest cyclo sportives in the world, tackling 800km over 7 days of consecutive riding and 20,000m of climbing over renowned mountain passes. The level of race organisation the Haute Route provides is the closest an amateur rider will come to experiencing a Grand Tour stage race.

It is quite an exclusive event with a relatively small field of just over 500 riders. This lends the race a unique atmosphere of competition and camaraderie. It is an extremely well organised event where rider classifications and times are posted, as well as leaders’ jerseys and team prizes awarded on a daily basis. Whatever your objectives are for the Haute Route, it is the ultimate challenge for any rider who takes their riding seriously. One to definitely have on your bucket list!

PuntoTours enhances this unique challenge with an accommodation and service package even the Pro’s would be happy with. As those of you who have travelled with us before know, we only source the best accommodation for each stage. We will also ensure swift transfers between starts and finishes; a qualified mechanic and regular laundry service for clean riding kit. Additionally, we provide nutritional guidance, supplements and will be present at strategic locations for refuelling, and kit drop zones during the race.  We will give you daily route wraps, guidance and ride strategy. You will truly feel like a Pro when we sit down together for an organised dinner and discuss tactics for the following day.

The Punto crew is ready each day to give our “team” the full ProTour service and experience. You’ll find your bike ready each morning, electrolytes, water and food supplements at the ready, and a final race briefing. Our objective is for you to leave all the logistics to us so you can concentrate fully on the day’s ride ahead!

One great advantage of travelling with PuntoTours is your access to experienced racers, director sportif and support staff. We've had great success in previous years with Andrea Nicosia winning the 2014 HR Pyrenees, and placing 3rd in the 2015 Triple Crown. Punto Team guests won in 2 age group in 2016, as well as Punto Teams taking out 1st and 3rd in 2015, and 2nd in 2016 in HRP Global category. One of our guests won the Triple Crown in the 60+ category - that's doing all 3 HR events consecutively! Come with us and we'll help you achieve your best!

We would love to have them along as this adds to your enjoyment of the event and can be a load of fun for them. They can watch and feel the emotion of the race close up, ride in our support vehicles through the stunning mountain scenery, or have some time off in some locations for other activities we can recommend. When the number of non-riders reaches 4 or more, we also offer a dedicated Tour Guide and vehicle to the group, so they can discover more of the region the race traverses, enjoying activities such as guided tours through towns, historical sites and museums, hiking, shopping, cooking demonstrations and the like. The Non-Rider Excellence Package is only €2700 (€3150 after 14 May, 2017).

“I just wanted to say thank you to you and all your team, for the most amazing week.
Completing it (HR) with you and the group was an experience I will remember for the rest of my life made all the more special and enjoyable due to the help and organisation you all provided throughout the week, the support was fantastic in what was at times challenging conditions but probably made it all the more memorable.”
Jon Friend

“Overall I had a fantastic time. The Punto team on the ground were superb. Unflappable. So patient. Having a tent at the end of each stage really worked for us and having Magnus Backsted around was a fantastic bonus. The bike servicing was great. As was the flexibility around booking additional accommodation at start and finish. Andrea attending the briefings for us was great too.  Christanos photo taking was very helpful too because we were racing. Davide is just an amazing person. The tone around collecting money for the extras we incurred is really good, all done in a mature way at the end.”
