Day One - Bolzano Warm-up Ride
Main Route: 60km / 37mi
Total Ascent: 900m / 2,950ft
This is a warm-up ride to ease out any jet lag, get those legs moving again and become accustomed to being at a higher altitude.  It will take in some small climbs and offer spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.

Day Two - Bolzano to Burgusio
Main Route: 115km / 71mi
Total Ascent: 2,500m / 8,200ft
Today we leave Bolzano and the Dolomites, and ride toward the central Alps and the Stelvio National Park area.  The ride is long but no significant climbs as we ride alongside the Adige river, on a beautiful cycling path. Babbling streams, views to the Alps, what a great day!

Day Three - Burgusio Loop to Stelvio
Main Route: 100km / 62mi
Total Ascent: 2,200m / 7,200ft
The BIG Challenge! This is an out and back ride, riding up the challenging and legendary side of the Passo Stelvio from Prato dello Stelvio.  After a gentle start riding beside a bubbling stream and through alpine pastures, the Stelvio urges you on as you count down the 48 hair-pin bends, enjoying the slight rest at every turn and the truly amazing views.  After a well earned rest at the summit and lots of photos, it's back down those bends, taking your time, to Burgusio.

Day Four - Burgusio to Bormio
Main Route: 90km / 56mi
Total Ascent: 2,500m / 8,200ft
The Stelvio, but this time from the less famous side from Santa Maria in Switzerland.  The climb is long and challenging, but there is very little traffic and the views are incredible.  Enjoy!

Day Five - Bormio Loop to Stelvio
Main Route: 100km / 62mi
Total Ascent: 3,500m / 11,400ft
We've done two sides, so why not the third and final ascent of the Stelvio?! This is the easier one from Bormio, but that doesn't mean it's easy!  The hot, natural pools at our hotel in Bormio will be the perfect recovery from this ride.

Day Six - Bormio Loop to Livigno
Main Route: 75km / 48mi
Total Ascent: 1,600m / 4,900ft
Today we will climb the Passo del Foscagno and stop in the lovely mountain town of Livigno, a tax free area located 2,000m above sea level.  Don't forget to bring your credit cards!  It's an out and back ride, so we will be back in Bormio to enjoy more time in the Roman spa.

Day Seven - Bormio to Trento
Main Route: 130km / 98mi
Total Ascent: 2,500m / 7,500ft
We ride to Trento, on the way climbing the Passo Gavia from the opposite side to the one we do in the GF.  Still a solid 27km of ascent with an elevation gain of 1,600m!  The remainder of the ride to Trento is relatively easy, perfect preparation for the GF!

Day Eight - Trento Rest Day, and Race Registration
After seven difficult days on the bike, it's the perfect time for a rest day, relax and massage.  For those doing the GF, race registration and bike preparation.  Plenty of things to fill the day before the GF Charly Gaul

Day Nine - Trento Loop to Monte Bondone, or GF Charly Gaul
Main Route: 75km / 52mi or 141km / 87mi
Total Ascent: 2,000m / 6,500ft or 4,000m / 13,100ft
What a day on the bike!  Those on the Trento Loop will warm up on the hills around Trento, and then up to the legendary Monte Bondone, on the classic side, same as those in the GF.  Those in the GF will have an extra ascent before they also wind their way onto Monte Bondone, no mean feat in itself!  There will be plenty to celebrate at the end of an epic day!

Day Ten - Arrivederci!
