The Queen of all Italian Granfondos, with only 10,000 getting to do it and 35,000 wanting to every year!  This is a spectacular race, amongst the most beautiful mountains in the world -  the Dolomites.  
Our tour starts and ends in Corvara and we discover the most fascinating climbs in the Dolomites.  A few of the climbs we’ll tackle include Pordoi, Fedaia, Sella, Giau, Falzarego, Campolongo and Gardena!  Some of which we’ll do again in the Granfondo - it’ll be great having that insider knowledge!  The Maratona is a cycling festival second to none, with passionate riders from all over the world.  This tour has limited spots (8 Only!) so don’t hesitate and book now to ensure you’re not one of the 25,000 who miss out!

Day One - Corvara Warm-up Ride
Main Route: 40km – 25mi
Total Ascent: 1,000m – 3200ft
A great ride around Corvara, the headquarters of the Maratona delle Dolomiti!
After a good warm up, We climb the passo campolongo, the first climb of the race!

Day Two - Corvara loop to Sella Ronda
Main Route: 60km – 37mi
Total Ascent: 2500m – 8200ft
A classic ride of the Dolomites! We will do 4 passes around the Massive of  the Sella: Passo Sella, Pordoi, Campolongo e Gardena.
We will do all these passes again on the race on Sunday, so time for you plan your strategy!

Day Three - Corvara rest day & race registration
Today it’s better we take a day off the bike, have a massage and get the bike ready for the big day. The race village will welcome us with all the exhibition stands of the major sponsors … any last minute shopping?

Day Four - Maratona delle Dolomiti
Main Route: 106km or 138 km; 65mi or 85mi
Total Ascent: 3090m or 4190m; 10100ft or 13700ft
The race has 2 different routes both challenging: 6 passes on the short route and 7 on the longer one!
We’ll do almost all the same passes we did on the previous days..but all on the one day! The secret is conserve and survive.  Can’t wait!

Day Five - Arrivederci
Transfer to Bolzano (2 hours) or Venice (3 hours)
