DAY ONE TUE 2 OCT | WELCOME!
Our day commences around 11:00am when your guides will meet you in the hotel lobby for bike setup. A wonderfully easy ride after a delicious, introductory lunch to get the body moving again after travelling. We take a gentle climb up to Manie, a verdant plateau almost 300m above the sea shore where vineyards and orchards of olives, apricots and figs abound. Welcome to the Italian Riviera!

DAY TWO WED 3 OCT | FINALE LOOP TO VEREZZI
The Apennine mountains north of Finale Ligure rise up to over 3000m, but we won't take you that far! Our ride today winds from valley to valley amid the lush, swathes of Mediterranean vegetation. We will visit the old, medieval walled town of Finalborgo for a wander before a delicious dinner of local cuisine.

DAY THREE THU 4 OCT | FINALE TO ALASSIO
On this tour you will ride through at least 7 of the 21 most beautiful villages in Liguria. Italy takes these nominations seriously so you are in for a treat! Today's ride has a sparkling coastal ride at the start and finish. In between we wander inland in a gradual semi-circular route, through one of those prettiest hamlets, Zuccarello.

DAY FOUR FRI 5 OCT | ALASSIO LOOP TO CERVO
Leisurely morning and a chance to explore the shopping in the narrow, cobbled street of Budello. On our afternoon ride we get to tick off another gorgeous village, Cervo. Alassio has excellent Gelato. Perfect to fuel up before the ride or use it for recovery, or both!

DAY FIVE SAT 6 OCT | ALASSIO LOOP TO RANZO
Fantastic loop ride that includes olive and wine tasting opportunities. This route is a favourite for local cyclists with winding roads that follow the terraced hillsides clad in olive groves and rows of vines.

DAY SIX SUN 7 OCT | ALASSIO TO BORGOMARO
A challenging day with the most climbing yet! You'll get a breather when we stop at the Fiat 500 museum or rest on the grass to enjoy a tasty picnic lunch.

DAY SEVEN MON 8 OCT | BORGOMARO LOOP TO SAROLA
We stay in the hills today with a great loop ride to Colle San Bartolomeo. We may not be able to see the sea, but we're often riding by the Impero river as we explore the hinterland.

DAY EIGHT TUE 9 OCT | BORGOMARO TO SANREMO
You can ride some of the roads the pros take in the Milan-Sanremo ride, one of the oldest and most prestigious races in Europe. We climb the Cipressa, classic ascent for the Pros as the race comes to an end. It's only 7km long with an average gradient of 3.9% but they sprint it! It's the only way to do it if you want to be at the front before arriving in glorious Sanremo.

DAY NINE WED 10 OCT | SANREMO LOOP TO BUSSANA VECCHIA
Our last day of riding so what better than exploring the flower cultivation capital of Italy. We visit Bussana Vecchia, a former ghost town when destroyed by an earthquake in 1887. Today it is home to artists who renovated the village in the 1960's. A perfect ending to a fantastic week of riding, we include the final climb of the Milan-Sanremo, the Poggio. This one is only 4km, similar gradient to Cipressa, so hold nothing back! Celebratory dinner in Sanremo to finish a wonderful tour.
