DAY ONE FRI 10 MAY | WELCOME
Early morning group transfer from Florence to Radda in Chianti. Check in to our delightful hotel, followed by bike set up. A wonderfully easy ride after a delicious, introductory lunch, to get the body moving again after travelling. We take a winding route through the vineyards surrounding Radda with views across the Chianti hills. Welcome to Tuscany!

DAY TWO SAT 11 MAY | RADDA LOOP
An enchanting ride in the Chianti hills to Gaiole, famous for being the start of the legendary Eroica Race. This race is where you have to ride a vintage bike on the unsealed roads of Tuscany, the 'Strade Bianche'. We'll visit the bike museum in this delightful village before the ride back to Radda.

DAY THREE SUN 12 MAY | RADDA TO VOLTERRA
This a beautiful ride in the heart of the Chianti region, winding up and down through vine clad hills to San Gimignano. After stopping to explore a little of this famous village of towers, we ride the final climb of the day to the ancient, hilltop town of Volterra.

DAY FOUR MON 13 MAY | VOLTERRA TO BOLGHERI
Today we pedal our way through the Bolgheri wine region, stopping for lunch and superb wine tasting. The return from Castagneto Carducci to Volterra is by van, although those who would like a bit longer in the saddle are welcome to ride.

DAY FIVE TUE 14 MAY | VOLTERRA TO SIENA
We say goodbye to Volterra and hello to Siena! The ride is fantastic, winding through charming villages, until the intriguing city of Siena is before us. We'll have time to wander through Siena before dinner.

DAY SIX WED 15 MAY | REST DAY IN SIENA
Today we take a day off the bike to visit Siena with a local guide, possibly climbing up the Torre del Mangia which will give you a bird's eye view of the town. In the afternoon there is the choice of an optional trip to the Terme di Rapolano, and some relaxation in the spa, or free time for shopping!
DAY SEVEN THU 16 MAY | SIENA TO PIENZA
We farewell Siena and head towards the famous town of Pienza, crossing the Crete Senesi, the 'badlands' area west of Asciano. An optional stop to visit the beautiful Abbey of Monte Oliveto before we arrive at out final destination, gorgeous Pienza.

DAY EIGHT FRI 17 MAY | PIENZA LOOP TO SINALUNGA
Today's route takes us to the delightful village of Montepulciano, famous for wine and its steep little streets. Then a relatively flat course to Sinalunga before a lovely, undulating course back to Pienza.

DAY NINE SAT 18 MAY | PIENZA LOOP TO MONTALCINO
We've saved the best ride for last with the spectacular scenery of the heritage listed Val d'Orcia. This is the Tuscany you have imagined. We visit Montalcino, home of one of Italy's finest wines, the renown Brunello.
