An easy ride to get the body moving after travelling as we circle through the mesa-like Mont Afrique. Lovely views over Dijon and welcome you to some of the revered ground of French vineyards, Burgundy!

DAY TWO SAT 8 JUN | DIJON TO VOSNE-ROMANEE
An undulating, scenic ride from Dijon to Vosne Romanée that starts with a climb up to Mont Afrique and meanders around the river Ouche before joining the Route des Grand Crus. We pedal past some of the most impressive vineyards and châteaux of the Côte de Nuits.

DAY THREE SUN 9 JUN | VOSNE-ROMANEE LOOP
Today's ride explores the hilly countryside east of Vosne-Romanée. We ride quiet roads through vineyards, fields of sheep and pretty villages before the finish along the Route des Grand Crus via Nuits-Saint-Georges back to Vosne-Romanée.

DAY FOUR MON 10 JUN | VOSNE-ROMANEE TO BEAUNE
Au revoir to Vosne-Romanée as we leave the Route des Grand Crus and ride into the leafy wooded hills on the loop ride to Beaune, the 'capital' of the Burgundy wine region.

DAY FIVE TUE 11 JUN | BEAUNE LOOP
A great day as we explore the Côte de Beaune, heading west from Beaune over a course that is once more a series of ups and downs. It is hard to tire of the Burgundy countryside as each vista appears over the next hill or around the next bend. Rolling vineyards and meadows, gracious châteaux and quaint villages nestled amid the trees.

A rest day with options for a short ride, vineyard visits, guided tour of beautiful Beaune and more.
DAY SEVEN THU 13 JUN | BEAUNE TO TOURNUS
Today's route takes us out of the Côte d'Or and into the Saône-et-Loire department, but not before riding through the renown Grand Cru villages of Meursault and Santenay. An undulating course through a landscape of pastures and orchards as well as vineyards. A pair of steeper, hilly climbs before we arrive at our final destination, delightful Tournus.

DAY EIGHT FRI 14 JUN | TOURNUS LOOP
Another beautiful ride through lush pastures rather than vineyards, along quiet roads of the Saône valley. We ride parallet to the river Saône fro the first ten kilometres before cutting cross country to follow the La Seille river in a wonderful loop back to Tournus. A leisurely, undulating route with nothing over 200m.
