The Apennine mountains north of Finale Ligure rise up to over 3000m, but we won't take you that far! Our ride today winds from valley to valley amid the lush, swathes of Mediterranean vegetation. ELEVATION | 1500M | 4900FT

DAY THREE SAT 27 APR | FINALE TO ALASSIO

On this tour you will ride through at least 7 of the 21 most beautiful villages in Liguria. Italy takes these nominations seriously so you are in for a treat! Today's ride has a sparkling coastal ride at the start and finish. In between we wander inland in a gradual semi-circular route, through one of those prettiest hamlets, Zuccarello.
DISTANCE | 70KM | 40MI
ELEVATION | 1200M | 3900FT

DAY FOUR SUN 28 APR | ALASSIO LOOP TO CERVO

Leisurely morning and a chance to explore the shopping in the narrow, cobbled street of Budello. On our afternoon ride we get to tick off another gorgeous village, Cervo. Alassio has excellent Gelato. Perfect to fuel up before the ride or use it for recovery, or both!
DISTANCE | 55KM | 34MI

DAY FIVE MON 29 APR | ALASSIO LOOP TO RANZO

Fantastic loop ride that includes olive and wine tasting opportunities. This route is a favourite for local cyclists with winding roads that follow the terraced hillsides clad in olive groves and rows of vines.

ELEVATION | 1250M | 4100FT

DAY EIGHT THU 2 MAY | BORGOMARO TO SANREMO

You can ride some of the roads the pros take in the Milan-Sanremo ride, one of the oldest and most prestigious races in Europe. We climb the Cipressa, classic ascent for the Pros as the race comes to an end. It's only 7km long with an average gradient of 3.9% but they sprint it! It's the only way to do it if you want to be at the front before arriving in glorious Sanremo.

DAY NINE FRI 3 MAY | SANREMO LOOP TO BUSSANA VECCHIA

Our last day of riding so what better than exploring the flower cultivation capital of Italy. We visit Bussana Vecchia, a former ghost town when destroyed by an earthquake in 1887. Today it is home to artists who renovated the village in the 1960's. A perfect ending to a fantastic week of riding, we include the final climb of the Milan-Sanremo, the Poggio. This one is only 4km, similar gradient to Cipressa, so hold nothing back! Celebratory dinner in Sanremo to finish a wonderful tour.
