PuntoTours offers you an eleven day cycling tour that is a fantastic mix of the hard yards and sensational tempo R&R.

Tick off a few of the all-time legendary ascents from our alpine base in Bormio. Passo dello Stelvio, Passo di Gavia and both(!) sides of the daunting Mortirolo. Such feats earn themselves a luxurious night in Bellagio on the shores of stunning Lake Como. From there you will be transferred the following day to Alba, where we begin a rolling adventure through vine clad hills. The backyard of the incomparable Fausto Coppi. The unrelenting, undulating terrain is brilliant for easing out the tensions from the mountains, and enhancing your overall riding strengths.

Food and wine in Italy is always excellent, but in Piedmont it is exceptional! All meals, luxe accommodation, professional guides on-road and vehicular supports with all the trimmings is yours for the tour.

Join the HurTsday ride in 2022 for a tour that really has it all - entrée, main course and dessert. Andiamo!

Note: this tour fee is based on 12 or more riders.
An additional €200 per person will be charged if there are less than 12 riders.

DAY TWO WED 31 AUG | STELVIO LOOP

A truly magnificent loop, with the challenge of riding all three sides of the Stelvio. Pace yourself up the ‘easier’ side from Bormio, and then slalom down the Umbrail Pass into Switzerland. A scenic, warp speed downhill to Glorenza, before we commence the deceptively, gentle start to this long legendary ascent. The bubbling stream and alpine pastures soon give way to the 48 hairpins that lead inexorably to the summit. Swoop back down to Bormio and soak in the thermal baths of this spa town.
102KM | 3200M ELEVATION

DAY THREE THU 1 SEP | PASSO GAVIA LOOP

Excellent climb, through the pines, past the rugged, rocky landscape to the reflection lakes at the summit of Passo Gavia. Technical descent into Ponte di Legno before we tackle the Mortirolo ‘easy’ side from Monno. Warm-up for tomorrow!
105KM | 2950M ELEVATION

DAY FOUR FRI 2 SEP | BORMIO TO BELLAGIO

Great ride as we cruise down the Valtellina, and then climb the classic side of Mortirolo. A definite bucket-list ascent, this is your Queen stage. Leave nothing behind! Brilliant recovery course on the ridge overlooking the valley, and then it’s downhill to Lake Como and flat riding all the way to the ferry.
165KM | 2500M ELEVATION

DAY FIVE SAT 3 SEP | TRANSFER TO PIEDMONT
