FULL ITINERARY
DAY ONE FRI 22 MAY | ARRIVAL AND WELCOME
The Giro Glory show begins! Arrange your flights to arrive into Malpensa airport by lunchtime. We will pick the group up from the airport for an early afternoon transfer to Follina. This delightful village in the heart of the sparkling Prosecco region of the Veneto is our home for the next two days. We'll settle in to our hotel, before a delicious Welcome dinner and Tour Briefing.
DAY TWO SAT 23 MAY | LOOP TO VALDOBBIADENE
STAGE 14 | CONEGLIANO - VALDOBBIADENE 33.7KM "continuous succession of climbs and descents, with challenging gradients at points up to 19%..."
Today's individual time trial is a tough one. We'll get everyone set up on their bikes immediately after breakfast, whether you brought your own or hired one of our awesome Cipollini's. Then we head out for our own review of the course. We can choose where to watch the professionals as they push themselves for a good placing in the GC.

Today's stage for the Pro's looks like their heart rates - regular peaks and troughs! Our ride is one way today, all the way to Piancavallo so you can experience the climb for yourself and enjoy the excitement of a summit finish. We'll jump in the vans for a transfer back to Follina - save your legs like the Pro's do - and a delicious dinner.
DISTANCE | 80KM | 50MI
ELEVATION | 2200M | 7200FT
DAY FOUR MON 25 MAY | FOLLINA TO PONTE ARCHE

STAGE 17 | BASSANO DEL GRAPPA - MADONNA DI CAMPIGLIO 202KM "an unrelenting mountain stage with over 5,000M vertical altitude gain..."
Today is a critical Stage for the GC and KOM classifications. We'll ride from Ponte Arche, over Passo Durone and up the final ascent to Madonna di Campiglio. Remember, the Pro's will have two big climbs in their legs before they hit Passo Durone and the final climb. Once we've seen the action live, we'll head to Bormio in the vans, ready for the next day's Stage!
DISTANCE | 50KM | 31MI
ELEVATION | 1500M | 4900FT
DAY SEVEN THU 28 MAY | CANCANO!
STAGE 18 | PINZOLO - LAGHI DI CANCANO 209KM "A colossal Alpine stage with 5,400M vertical altitude gain in as little as four climbs..."
Colossal is the word! For the first time the Giro crosses the recently opened Passo Castrin, before tackling the Stelvio from the hard side, and finishing with the 'mini-Stelvio' or Stairs of Fraele to the lakes of Cancano. The climb to Cancano and the Torri di Fraele is a scenic must. Opt to ride to the lakes and watch the climb or finish, return to Bormio and cheer the Giro on close to town, or for those that would like a bigger day, climb towards Passo dello Stelvio as far as you like and watch the Pro's on a classic of the Giro.
DISTANCE | 38KM OR 72KM |
ELEVATION | 900M OR 2350M |
DAY EIGHT FRI 29 MAY | BORMIO TO BRA
STAGE 19 | MORBEGNO - ASTI 215KM "longest stage of the Giro and likely to finish in a bunch sprint unless a break away succeeds..."
For us, an early morning transfer from Bormio to Bra as we head towards the pointy end of this Grand Tour. We'll get there in time to settle into our hotel, unpack the bikes and have some lunch. We then ride to Asti for that warp speed, sprint finish! Long but gorgeous flat ride in beautiful Piedmont.
DISTANCE | 90KM | 56MI
ELEVATION | 650M | 2100FT
DAY NINE SAT 30 MAY | BRA TO COL D'AGNELLO
STAGE 20 | ALBA - SESTRIERE 200KM "the riders pass Colle dell'Agnello, Col d'Izoard and Monginevero, before the final climb up to Sestriere. According to many, this is a modern reinterpretation of the legendary Cuneo-Pinerolo."
A HUGE day out for the penultimate day of the Giro. How decisive will it be, given there is the last time trial tomorrow? This is going to be good! BIG day for us too as we ride from Bra to the famed Colle dell-Agnello to watch the final epic battle in the mountains for the Giro podium.
DISTANCE | 97KM | 60MI
ELEVATION | 2500M | 8200FT
