A glorious break in Perth, Western Australia, cycling around the sparkling Swan River, beside the turquoise Indian Ocean and eucalyptus scented bushland.

Being the most isolated capital in the world, has inspired many West Australians to punch well above their weight. World class sports people, artists, musicians, scientists and cyclists, of course! The locals are relaxed and as laid back as only Aussies can be, to make you feel welcome and at ease.
The terrain around Perth is relatively flat, with fantastic views usually under blue, blue skies. There are good hill rides to the east, and often a breeze to provide an extra challenge, or a great push!

For riders who would like a longer ride, there are plenty of options we can offer.

Post ride, expect exceptional produce in creative, delicious dishes that reflect the myriad cultures that have made Perth home. We'll include at least one organised activity which, depending on the time of year, could be a cruise on the Swan River, a visit to Rottnest Island and the endearing quokkas, Swan valley wine tasting, wild flowers and tree walk in Kings Park.

If you'd like to stay a little longer, add our Margaret River Tour to your holiday. Contact us if you'd like a special price for this add-on.

Full carbon hire bikes available with medium compact gearing and Shimano Di2.

DAY THREE SUN 13 SEP | LOOP TO THE 'BUSH'

When Aussies refer to country inland, they refer to the 'bush'. This is pretty much anything that is not on the coast! Today we head into the bush, through the picturesque hills east of Perth. These are precious water catchment areas tucked amidst gum trees, alive with the unique songs of Australian magpies, kookaburras and crows. If you're lucky you may spot a kangaroo, although their active hours are usually at dawn and dusk. A great day in the saddle!

WHAT KIND OF CYCLISTS TAKE YOUR TOURS?

There is no mold! We have had cyclists from 18-72 years of age, some choosing easy, others choosing extremely challenging tours. We firmly believe we have something for almost all cycling abilities. Use our Difficulty Rating to help you select a tour that suits what you want.  We're happy to talk it over with you if you're unsure.

HOW MUCH RIDING DO I HAVE TO DO?

As much or as little as you want. It’s your holiday.  You determine how much you want to ride. You can, on any day, choose to cut a ride short, miss a climb, only do the downhills, have a rest day or ask for more!  The van is always handy if you choose not to ride, and a guide is always willing to do some extra distance if you wish. You just need to ask.
