DAY ONE WED 21 JUN | WELCOME
A morning group airport transfer to our Alpine base in Bormio. On arrival check-in, make yourself comfortable and we'll confirm your bikes are all set-up. Enjoy a light, Welcome Lunch and Tour Introduction, followed by an easy afternoon ride to get the body moving again after travelling. There is a climb, of course, but we'll spin up for the impressive view from the towers on the road to Cancano. Welcome to the Italian Alps!

DAY TWO THU 22 JUN | BORMIO LOOP
Fantastic day in the saddle, as we ride the legendary Passo Mortirolo and Gavia. Nowhere to hide. Roll down the valley and up the easier climb to Mortirolo. Then on to Ponte di Legno and the magnificent southern ascent of the Gavia. The treat is the final brilliant descent into Bormio and a soak in the thermal baths! Option to do loop in reverse.

DAY THREE FRI 23 JUN | BORMIO TO BOLZANO
Brilliant day that begins with the ascent from Bormio to the famous Passo dello Stelvio. Time for a photo shoot at the top, before the descent round 48 hairpins, and beside the sparkling stream into Prato allo Stelvio. After that it is still a glorious downward ride, on tranquil cycling paths, that for the most part, follow the river and wind through apple orchards, all the way to Bolzano.

DAY FOUR SAT 24 JUN | BOLZANO TO CANAZEI
Today we leave the Alps and enter the Dolomites. Numerous mountains are picturesque, but the Dolomites are something else again. Our gateway to this World Heritage majesty is the beautiful climb to the astonishingly blue, Lago di Carezza.

We trace the route of the short course Maratona dles Dolomiti. Four amazingly different passes that showcase the Sella massif.

DAY SIX MON 26 JUN | FEDAIA GLACIER LOOP
This is a spectacular ride that winds around the Marmolada mountain, the highest in the Dolomites with the glacier visible during the ride. Two big, well-known passes, the San Pellegrino and Passo Fedaia. We ride along past the picturesque Lago di Fedaia, of 'Italian Job' fame.

DAY SEVEN TUE 27 JUN | CANAZEI TO CORTINA
Great day in the saddle. We do the reverse of yesterday, up the Passo Pordoi and Campolongo, before heading down through Corvara. Then new territory up the Valparola pass and racing down the Falzarego into Cortina. More or less a rest day!

DAY EIGHT WED 28 JUN | CORTINA TO PASSO GIAU
Finale day! We ride the business end of the Maratona dles Dolomiti - Falzarego/Valparola, Campolongo and Passo Giau from the classic, tougher side. If you're really hankering to also emulate the 14th Stage of the 2018 Giro, you can always add in the Muro del Gatto in La Villa, 360M of hell. Once you summit the Giau, it's all downhill into Cortina for celebrations!
