FULL ITINERARY
DAY ONE FRI 1 AUG | ARRIVAL
Arrive in Turin and join the afternoon group transfer to Susa.
Settle into our very comfortable hotel. Your guides will assist with bike unpacking, or make sure your hire bike is a perfect fit. Welcome dinner and Tour Briefing in the evening.
DAY TWO SAT 2 AUG | LOOP TO MONT CENIS
Great loop ride to Moncenisio and Lac du Mont Cenis. An adventurous route up the narrow winding road to Moncenisio, and upwards to the lake at the summit. Then loop back for an awesome long descent.
For those that would like an extra challenge, continue on to climb the infamous Col d'Iseran. Hop in the van for the return to hotel.

DAY THREE SUN 3 AUG | LOOP TO COLLE DELLE FINESTRE
No holding back! Big ride today following a favourite route of the Giro d'Italia. Up over the Colle delle Finestre with its section of compact, unsealed road and down the other side. Then up to the famous ski resort atop Colle del Sestriere. Fantastic long descent back to the hotel.

DAY FOUR MON 4 AUG | SUSA TO RIVAROLO CANAVESE
Easier day with a ride that takes in the picturesque Colle del Lys, included in the most recent Giro d'Italia 2024. We can ride all the way, or part of the way, to our overnight stay in Rivarolo Canavese.
DISTANCE | 80KM | 50MI
ELEVATION | 1250M | 4100FT
DAY FIVE TUE 5 AUG | COLLE DEL NIVOLET!
One of the best kept secrets in epic ascents, today's route is a brilliant one way trip. This is a long climb that surprisingly has not actually ever been included in the Giro, despite being the third highest paved road in Italy.
The road is a dead end, servicing the hydro-electric plants by the lakes. But the scenery is beautiful, and the panoramic vista at the top spectacular!
Transfer after lunch to our next hotel for the final two days.
DISTANCE | 85KM | 53MI
ELEVATION | 2750M | 9000FT
DAY SIX WED 6 AUG | COLLE FAUNIERA LOOP
Known as the Colle dei Morti, this stunning climb in the remote south of Piedmont is a must. The summit features a huge monument to Marco Pantani acknowleging his climb in the 1999 Giro. The road is rough in places, but this is one of the legendary ascents of road cycling.
DISTANCE | 95KM | 59MI
ELEVATION | 2050M | 6700FT
DAY SEVEN THU 7 AUG | COLLE DELLA LOMBARDA
Brilliant day in the saddle for our last ride. The Lombarda is considered one of the best climbs in the region by our guide who lives locally in Piedmont, and naturally the Italian side is the most beautiful. We've made it a round 100km trip. Touch your shoe over the border into France, and then blast back downhill to Vinadio. From there, a return transfer to our amazing hotel and a delicious, celebratory dinner to wind up an epic week!
DISTANCE | 100KM | 62MI
EVEVATION | 2150M | 7050FT
DAY EIGHT FRI 8 AUG | GOODBYE
Sadly, it's the end of the OTT Tour. There will be an early morning group transfer to Turin, a trip of about 1.5 hours.
Farewell until next time.
Ride safe Puntos!
For those joining the more peaceful Piedmont Tour - a good excuse to turn over the legs - we'll leave you to your own devices in Turin. There will be a group transfer on Sunday to the start hotel in Biletta.
