A glorious break in Perth, Western Australia, cycling around the sparkling Swan River, beside the turquoise Indian Ocean and eucalyptus scented bushland.

Being the most isolated capital in the world, has inspired many West Australians to punch well above their weight. World class sports people, artists, musicians, scientists and cyclists, of course! The locals are relaxed and as laid back as only Aussies can be, to make you feel welcome and at ease.

The terrain around Perth is relatively flat, with fantastic views usually under blue, blue skies. Our famous sea breezes that make Perth air so clean and clear, will provide an extra challenge or a great push!

Post ride, expect exceptional produce in creative, delicious dishes that reflect the myriad cultures that have made Perth home. Depending on the time of year, off-bike activities can include a cruise on the Swan River, a visit to Rottnest Island and the endearing quokkas, Swan valley wine tasting, wild flowers and tree walk in Kings Park.

DAY ONE FRI 9 MAY | ARRIVAL & WELCOME

Welcome to Western Australia! Arrive in Perth, and settle into your lovely hotel. Free time in the afternoon to explore your immediate surrounds.
Time to unpack bikes if you have brought your own, or check BikeFit for those hiring a bike.
Welcome and Tour Briefing in the evening over dinner.

DAY TWO SAT 10 MAY | SWAN RIVER LOOP

A beautiful, leisurely ride that heads south along the shores of the Swan River passing by the migratory bird sanctuary. The route hugs the sparkling river all the way to Fremantle, with a delightful coffee stop by the Indian Ocean. We wind along the coast for a time, before turning east and making our way to Kings Park. Very scenic views across the city and Swan River before dropping down from Mount Eliza to your hotel.

DAY THREE SUN 11 MAY | SWAN VALLEY LOOP

A gorgeous ride to the Swan Valley, this time pedalling along the shores of the river northwards. Here the river is much narrower and winding as it journeys from the hills to the coast. Once in the historic town of Guildford, we head into the vineyards and agricultural fields of the Swan Valley.
Option to have lunch at a winery, visit the Caversham Wildlife Park and/or ride back to Perth along our excellent cycle paths.

DAY FOUR MON 12 MAY | NORTHERN BEACHES LOOP

Today's route takes in two of our fragrant natural parklands, as well as the Northern beaches. We can't help but begin with Kings Park, followed by a stint down the cycle path, past our Royal Showgrounds and onto Swanbourne. Once here enjoy the sweeping views of the Indian Ocean and white sandy beaches, rocky inlets all the way from Swanbourne to Scarborough. Time for a coffee before we turn back this time veering into the bushland of Bold Park and Perry Lakes before winding our way to Kings Park for the finish. Great ride!

DAY FIVE TUE 13 MAY | GOODBYE

Time to say farewell. There will be a group transfer to Perth airport.
