DAY ONE SUN 19 JUL | ARRIVAL & SHAKE-OUT RIDE
Group transfer from Turin to Susa. On arrival, we'll settle into our lovely start hotel, followed by bike set up and fit, depending on whether you brought your own or are hiring a bike.
An afternoon ride up to Mont Cenis to shake out the legs after travelling, and introduce you to the beauty of the Alps on the French | Italian border. Welcome and Tour Briefing at dinner.

DAY TWO MON 20 JUL | SUSA TO SESTRIERE
A fantastic ride up and over the Colle delle Fenestre, a favourite in the Giro d'Italia. The route is narrow, quiet and very scenic with a gravel section at the summit. After descending the other side of the pass, we climb to Sestrière, a famous ski resort and host of the 2006 Winter Olympics held in Italy.

DAY THREE TUE 21 JUL | SESTRIèRE TO BRIANçON
A shorter ride today, after two solid days in the saddle. The route heads over the Col de Montgenèvre and then it's a wonderful downhill all the way to Briançon.
Time to get your walking legs on and explore the charming old centre, and the simply spectacular Napoleonic fortress. Several buildings in the fortress town of Briançon are classifed World Heritage Sites by UNESCO.

DAY FOUR WED 22 JUL | BRIANçON LOOP TO COL D'IZOARD
Mythical route for a big ride today. Whether tackling the north or south side of the Col d'Izoard, it is always classified by the Tour de France as an 'hors categorie' ascent. The terrain is unique, spectacular and the Casse Desert rock formations will give you goosebumps.

DAY FIVE THU 23 JUL | BRIANçON TO SAINT-JEAN-DE-MAURIENNE
Serious Tour de France territory today taking in three famous Cols. The route climbs gradually out of Briançon to the Col du Lautaret, before turning right and ascending the infamous Col du Galibier. The views at the top are sensational! The descent takes in the Col du Télégraphe and then gives you some relief as we head down all the way to Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne.

DAY SIX FRI 24 JUL | LOOP TO CROIX DE FER
We're fast running out of superlatives as this tour continues to unfold. Today we tackle two legends that conveniently roll into one - the gorgeous climb to the Col de la Croix de Fer, and roll on to the Col du Glandon. Pace is the key, while you soak in the views!

DAY SEVEN SAT 25 JUL | TOUR DE FRANCE, STAGE 20
Get up close and personal with the Tour de France, when we ride to Bourg d'Oisans and watch the pro peloton on the final alpine stage of the TDF. Who knows who will be the final contenders at the end of the gruelling three weeks of the 2026 Grand Tour, but you will be there for the last battle in the Alpes. Transfer back to St-Jean-de-Maurienne from Bourg d'Oisans.
