DAY ONE WED 6 JUN | TRANSFER AND WELCOME

Group transfer from Malpensa airport, Milan to our luxe hotel in the centre of Bormio. The transfer will depart from the airport at 11:00am and take about 3.5 hours, with a lunch stop on the way. On arrival we'll settle you into the hotel, and help you set up your bikes. Mechanical assistance will be on-hand so that your bike is ready for the big event. Late afternoon there will be a short ride for those who would like to stretch their legs after travelling.

DAY TWO THU 7 JUN | REGISTRATION

Today is registration day for the Haute Route Stelvio event. We're awaiting details from Haute Route, but the aim is to head to the race village and get the formalities done early, or get a ride in first. It will be easy pace riding to keep the legs moving. Race preparation will include an easy pace ride to keep the legs moving and a Masseur on hand for optimal recovery. Our guides know this area well, and are ex-racers, so race strategy and guidance can be discussed in detail over dinner.

DAY THREE FRI 8 JUN | RACE DAY 1

Details from Haute Route still to come, but we do know this is a brilliant loop ride up Passo dello Stelvio from Bormio and down the Umbrail Pass into Switzerland. Then it's the legendary 48 switchbacks up the classic Stelvio climb to finish at the summit. PuntoTours will provide personalised support at permitted locations during the race, as well as soigneur services post-race.
